REAL STEEL

Featuring Zo'
Stylist Demanti O'Bryant
Photography by Demetrius Markee

Inny, meeny, miny, "ZO" catch a model by its toe. I had been discussing a collaboration with St.Claire Modeling for some time at this point and we had finally came up with a vision for what I thought were to be two fresh faced, male models.

Once arriving at destination I learned that vision could possibly change due to some timing issues. I won't can't say I was pleased with finding out the models were running extremely late, but once I met Zo' it became apparent that  maybe the other model was meant to be running behind in order for him to shine.

This was Zo's first shoot, but oddly enough he wasn't the "Deer caught in headlights" I thought he would be. He took direction very well, was open to any suggestions and quite frankly did a pretty good job if I must say so myself. With the guidance of Demanti O'Bryant I think this will be one model to watch out for!

Beauty Comes In All Shades

Women of color are in my eyes so extremely beautiful from head to toe. No matter the shape, size or shade of brown the women is, she is still beautiful. So many people of color try to put certain shades on a higher pedestal or  hold them to higher standards as if being lighter skinned is the icing on the cake

So many woman of color think there are certain things they shouldn't wear or attempt to wear based of there shade of brown, but that's not true...black is beautiful in all shades!!! Throw on your brightest blouse, highest heels, grab your biggest brightest purse and put on a red lip and go show your color ladies.

Heart of The City

Featuring Tim McCulloch
Photography by Demetrius Markee

Tim (Timothy) McCulloch has such an amazing understanding of what it is to be a model. He walked in with such a warming personality and a big smile and yet when I stated I wanted somewhat of a mellow, melancholy mood for the shoot he turned it on instantly.

I was a little unsure if he would be able to give me what I was looking for in the beginning with us shooting in downtown Atlanta, right in the middle of people walking around, driving by, and stopping to steal a glance at us, but to my surprise he posed for the camera as if he was the only one in the entire city.
